K.R. Grace, you are an absolute rockstar! I am so glad I came across The Loner, because it introduced me to a world I absolutely love. The entire concept behind Star's story was amazing, I mean coming up with the idea of having a book dedicated to each suitor was pure genius! This series is definitely in my top ten!The Phoenix was so much more than I hoped it would be, and that's saying a lot, because I had super high expectations. The pace of the story was absolutely perfect! Things were happening quickly, yet slowly at the same time, which made for some extreme anticipation building. At one point I just decided I couldn't stop until I finished the book, I was that into it!
The built up anticipation and suspense really got to me. There were so many twists that I think my face may have froze in a position of shock for a while. Don't worry, it wasn't permanent. Eventually my expression changed from one of shock to one of pure happiness.
Even with all the shock-worthy moments and constant action, the story did manage to wrap itself up in a perfect package, complete with the perky bow and all. The ending had me grinning from ear to ear. I probably looked like the cheshire cat, but who cares! The story was just perfect. It's as simple as that. Perfect.
If you haven't read this series yet, do yourself a favor...READ IT!

I was so happy when I saw this book available. Star had many obstacles to get through and still choose her destined. This is a great YA book I hope you read it and I hope the story continues.
The Phoenix is the last of the series and doesn't disappoint! The characters and storyline flowed, for me, from book 1 (The Loner) through to this 4th, and I presume, last one...however, *partial spoiler/maybe?, the ending was written well enough to either have a continuation of the series or at least a pretty decent spin off series. We can keep our fingers crossed!! I would most definitely recommend this series to others!!
I really enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down, along with the rest of the series once i read them. Good character development and you really began to love a few of the characters. By the end of the series i was really leaning toward one guy. hope everyone else was too. Definitively a YA paranormal romance so if you're not into that this isn't for you.
Since starting this series it's the question I've asked myself...what would life truly be like to know that you are living your Destiny? I'm certain most of us let Fate lead us, but imagine the joy and peace that could be found. I love this series and can't wait for the twins stories and hopefully the answer to Drake's Destiny.
I downloaded this series and was so surprised that it is based in the same region I am from do I could really relate to all the locations. The series is an emotion as l rollercoaster that keeps you guessing and begging for more .
I loved this series so much. I have mixed feelings but most likely only because I wanted Drake and Raeb both happy!(don't ask me how that was gonna happen)
There was a few mistakes in the book and I did catch a couple of instances where Raebs name was replaced with Drakes. However, it was still a great series and I'm very sad it's done. I cannot wait for more! I hope they're all as great!
I was hooked since book one and was anxiously waiting for this the 4th book and what will happen with my lovely characters, and now that the wait is over I'm blown away about what I just read.
At first I was a little mad (in a good way) about how the story went, I didn't expect it or maybe I knew it will happen that way; I don't know I still have mixed feelings about it. But I think that after those parting words; I now know there was a reason...
In the end I LOVED it so freakin' much and I am ready for the next adventure, I know it's gonna be so AWESOME as this series was!!!
